Air Freight

Using commercial airlines that fly between the U.S. and Europe, or the U.S. and China (and vice versa),
Standridge meets its customers’ requirements through a well developed Scheduled Air Transportation Network.

Whether the situation calls for door-to-door shipments, door-to-port transportation, or another arrangement, as long as the countries allow the movement of freight within their boundaries, Standridge can deliver.

Equipped with more than 30 years of expertise in arranging international transportation, Standridge Logistics’ professional team monitors freight movement step-by-step – from the time it leaves its origin until the moment the freight arrives at its destination. This complete, end-to-end transportation network visibility allows us to address all questions and concerns instantly and in real-time – a major advantage for customers who typically lack oversight of their international airfreight activities, or who are accustomed to being directed to outdated, error-prone online platforms to retrieve their tracking data.

For an added level of shipment visibility, Standridge coordinates communications between customs brokers and our clients, and in doing so adds a new layer of security and confidence that shipments will arrive on time and in good condition at their final destinations. We handle all of the details so that you don’t have to waste your energy or worry about the fine points of scheduled air transportation. Instead, you can focus on your core business activities and allow Standridge to handle everything else.

And when those critical parts simply must be delivered to your customer’s location within a 6- to 12-hour time window, Standridge provides Charter Air Transportation Services via a network of federally-authorized operators that utilize small Cessna airplanes to oversized Antonovs. Whether the shipments require door-to-door or airport-to-airport treatment, Standridge provides the best pricing and timing to suit its customers’ needs. In fact, we have received numerous calls from our customers ecstatic their time critical shipments were delivered before their production lines were due to shut down.

Through strong relationships with local Fixed Base Operations (FBOs) situated near Alabama’s auto manufacturing facilities, Standridge can mobilize quickly on complicated shipping matters. For a recent charter that originated in Utah, for example, we were able to secure a forklift and a forklift operator from a local FBO that specialized in servicing jets. For a nominal fee, the job got done quickly and efficiently and the charter got off the ground on time.

Whether a customer needs normal airfreight service, scheduled air transportation, or charter air services for those critical deliveries, Standridge tackles the job from concept to completion. Our clients know that whatever they put into our hands will be taken care of without any worry over how it will be delivered, when it will reach its destination, or what condition it will be in upon arrival.
